Amy Hunt,  Creative Director

Amy works with companies, causes, PR agencies, interactive agencies, and others on something that helps them get noticed, talked about, passed around: Online video.  Did you know 90% of us that can DVR and fast-forward through TV spots do it? At the same time, we voluntarily watch 19 billion online videos. Every month. Only in the U.S.

Online video makes sites, blogs, social media, absolutely everything online, sticky. It also gives velocity to word-of-mouth marketing. (Have you ever forwarded an awesome .pdf to a Facebook friend? Well, who really has.) Online video gets clients out of the boring website and ignored banner ad business, and into the voluntarily-engaged-with content business.

Over the next 2 years, online video spend will grow 300%. If it’s not in your media or website content plan, you don’t have a good one. And if you think anyone can make an online video that will help you, chew on this:

YouTube is now the world's second largest search engine. It's also a trash heap of amateur stuff that nobody watches.

Amy has worked with a long list of scrappy start-ups as well as Fortune 500 companies like American Express, AT&T, Turner, CSX, and Barry Diller's IAC/InterActive Corp. Her resume includes positions like Executive Creative Director and Managing Partner, and agencies as diverse in their views as Digitas, Arnold, Mullen.

A House On Fire combines 20+ years of behavior and brand experience with realistic pricing for creative video productions. (Video is incredibly important now, but it’s also disposable, and you need a bunch of it. So it isn't about TV and TV budgets.)

Want a reel? Ask.

  • Regular guest lecturer at Simmons School of Management MBA program
  • Over 100 creative awards in both local and international competitions
  • Named to the Adweek Creative All-Star Team

Specialties

  • EXPLAINER VIDEOS* for new ideas, or clients for whom teaching is indispensable to selling
  • VIDEO STORYBOOKS* that support text and blah blah blah, look at the analytics, who reads websites?
  • DOCUMENTARY BRANDING VIDEO* because we've lost trust in corporations, we trust people and experiences
  • IMPACT CREATIVE* and sure, TV too, because our screens are converging
